They mean better to the average voter. Even a bad idea sometimes sounds better than no idea. People are upset, they’re skipping Halloween this year. My elderly neighbor is afraid to turn on her furnace, another retired friend just told me her utilities were cut today. This has been getting worse and worse for years now. People want to hear zany, pie in the sky ideas, and they want stimulus checks. And they’re voting like it.

Why do you think Mandani is kicking ass in NYC? He is offering solutions to problems. He probably won’t even be able to delivery on the majority of it… but he is actually offering the average NYC voters something and listening to them and appealing to their concerns… and focusing on real practical issues that impact the majority… not social bullshit over miniorities.
