    This is basically the circular end point of existential philosophy. We have fundamental needs that if satisfied we simply do feel better, regardless of our philosophy. Not just food and shelter, but various cognitive needs as well, of course. Understand and satisfy those, and you’re good.

    We can still get tangled in knots about the mysteries of the universe, but the fundamental realization is that certainly, nothing matters if you’re dead. So you might as well take satisfying your fundamental needs as your purpose.
