Maybe they tried living free and died (or got life in prison for having a joint)

Hehehehe. A joint… yaah… the irony meter is off the chart, considering that the state says “don’t drink and drive” yet maintains several state liquor stores that can only be accessed off of the highways.

        Oyyyyy…

Livin’ Free, in the states most expensive little city by the mouth of the port.

      Kill me now.

It is wicked expensive near that port.

I live a little ways from there, but still had the same summers worth of drought this year.

It is spendy here. We’ve been in the same apartment for decades. Place is funky, for sure, but it’s home and husband used to work for the landlords family when he was a kid, so we all know each other quite well. Heck the daughter that’s running the rentals now, used to sit on the tree branch that was right outside my living room window when she was 8 or 9 and we’d talk to each other.

We live on a second floor - She was a right little squirrel as a kid!

So bizarre, I’m about to get ready and go work at a yard with lots of ships right there. Small world!

Perhaps we should create a c/Seacoast community? I’ve been given the heave-ho from Reddit and it’s the local subs I miss the most.

I will look into instgating such a thing.
