I think it’s telling that I’ve heard plenty of times about Lutherans and Calvinists but I’ve never heard of Hutterans or Leidenists.

I guess it’s okay if you accept they’re all in reference to each other and not to any baseline of the average person in their respective times.
This would seem pretty valid even respective to the average person, except that Martin Luther would probably be more centrist than authright with that in mind.
If anything he would be below the line for opposing the Catholic Church exchanging tithes for forgiveness. The Church was the authority in that context.
