That’s actually a very interesting article. While living in the times, I wouldn’t have put my finger on it. But reading this decades later, these jungle soundtracks very much exemplify the time.

immediately Rollcage comes to mind. that game undoubtedly introduced me to jungle and d&b.
and the spiritual sequel Grip kept that going with a banger soundtrack too
