I hope the Jonas apologists are no longer apologizing for him. He’s having the team playing dire football. The team looks extremely unmotivated bar a few players…like what gives? We used to be ruthless once we are up. We bare squeaked by a newly promoted team that gets battered each week. I’m dreading that City game in two weeks.
Man, the salt around here. Over us making hard work of a team that finally got their defensive act together 😬
I’m no fan of the cross it and hope tactics, but it’s not as if Bristol let us do anything else.
Now, if the same thing happens when Viv and Beth are back up to speed, we can talk. Until then, I’m just happy with the win.
Bristol were definitely better than I expected, but it was just genuinely boring to watch us do that. And it’s just been a bad start to the season as a whole with us doing not much differently so far in terms of the cross and pray
@Astrealix sure, it’s not fun to watch, but games against teams that hold a low-block well rarely are. Having said that, I do think that getting Viv back will offer us more creativity in such situations.
Didn’t watch, how was Viv?
Came on for a few minutes, made a very nice pass…but obvs we failed to score off of it
We’ve had 49 corners in this season’s four league games. I wonder how many of those come from bullshit random crossing.
19 came against Liverpool, 16 today btw.
I don’t care. I literally stopped watching about 80 minutes in cuz it was that dull that I ended up working on homework instead for a bit. We’re Arsenal, and this was a team that literally came up this season. 3 points is 3 points but that was terrible.
