Can someone explain house-sitting to me? Like, do you go over to feed the cat and water the plants or is there more?
Typically when I do it, I do the tasks like watering plants, feeding pets, etc. I also believe the point of house sitting is to make it appear occupied and busy, so I spend about an hour playing with the pets, watching tv, and cleaning up little messes
You also have to compliment the home owners every half hour so they can see that on their nannycam.
I just have a cheeky wank in front of the camera. That’s what ya get for spying one me.
So my parents haven’t asked me to house sit for a while but it doesn’t stop me

I did it for a friend last summer. I Had the same questions. You do those things but the most important part is making sure people knows that the house was never left alone.
In the previous year, my friend got robbed while being on vacation, so she asked me for the favor.
Back in the 90s I was living in a small apartment, so house-sitting for a friend meant that I got to stay in a house, watching satellite TV with cats. A good deal.
You just sit there and so what you normally do but there are pets that aren’t yours that you have to take care of and sometimes (often) they are not very well trained
