Hack it and make it a leftie LLM “Seize the means of making cookies”
AI company Embodied announced this week that they would be shutting down following financial difficulties and a sudden withdrawal of funding. Embodied’s main product was Moxie, an AI-powered social robot specifically made with autistic children in mind. The robot itself cost $799.00 and now, following the closure of Embodied, it will cease to function.
This is sad. I know personally many people that worked there and they’re some of the best engineers. Never cared for an AI robot for kids myself, but it seemed to work well…
So, what, they all go to a landfill? Such horseshit that companies like this don’t have to clean up after themselves…
