End of the article says he is not currently in Russia and was just charged in his absence. Thank God

Fortunately for Glukhovsky, he is not actually in Russia, and was sentenced in absentia. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Glad he left Russia! The loss of minds like this is what is really going to hurt Russia in the long run.

Man do i miss the days when I was on the Russia sub reddit back in the day and could talk with free minded people about the countries culture and history. That Sub went to absolute shit after Putin retook power the second time.

I recently read the book after having played the games. I’d definitely recommend 2033 whether or not you’ve played the game. It follows the same broader plot of the game but the game and book have substantial enough differences so it wouldn’t feel like the same exact story.

      (I only read the books)

Loved 2033, but didn’t like 2034 that much.

I hate how the wording still props up Russia’s bullshit about the war. “Found guilty of spreading false information” uh actually it was true information that Russia has criminalized.

I don’t know about that. That was the charge and he was found guilty, whether it’s valid or not is kind of irrelevant here.

You can be innocent and be found guilty of murder, you’re still found guilty by the legal system no matter how actually innocent you are.
