Takei: Ever since then, Welshie has been a welcome participant in our escapades.
Welshie: Aye, dwi wedi meddwi’n chwil!I believe it is canon that at least one of the Chief Engineers was Welsh. I think it was in the season of Discovery where they introduced Pike. We only ever heard her voice (briefly) over the comms. Memory is hazy over which ship she was engineer to. Had the impression it was Enterprise.
