    The LAPD described the person who shot the driver as "a Hispanic male

    Oh dear… I guess now 300 ICE goons will descend on LA to search for hispanic males to deport, and 20,000 troups will be deployed to protect them or something.

    When officers arrived, they found the driver being assaulted by bystanders and determined he had sustained a gunshot wound

    The guy used a (very) deadly weapon to attack people en masse. If theres ever a time to shoot someone, Id say this qualifies. But no, this reads much closer to the driver being framed as a victim.

      The guy was kicked out of the club a few minutes before the crash for being an intoxicated nuisance. Based on what the investigators are saying about the footage, he drove into the crowd intentionally by manuvering around a bus to get onto the sidewalk. No obvious terrorism here, imo.
