I think you’re missing a huge part of the student loan victims of the last generation. These aren’t people that were smart or dumb or whatever.
These were kids that were lied to about needing an education to get any job in the future (the lie being those jobs were just disappearing, not changing).
Then every one of them were offered “Devry or University of Phenix” style degrees that were essentially just private companies given free money from the government that the working class would have to pay for.
