After AnandTech shut down, it was understood that the site’s publisher would keep its valuable archives online indefinitely. Now, it turns out that for Future PLC, “indefinitely” only meant a little over 11 months. Anyone concerned about preserving the site should consider backing up alternative archives as soon as possible.
Readers recently discovered that navigating to AnandTech.com now automatically redirects to the site’s forums, with articles no longer accessible. Although other sources have preserved the content, the removal of the main site marks a definitive end to a valuable early pillar of tech journalism online.

Ah. That might explain it: https://subscribe.arcade.tomshardware.com/uk/tom-s-hardware-digital-subscription/dp/8e30f1e8
This includes – among other things – a replacement for Anandtech’s freely available benchmark databases, except you have to pay for it 🫠
I’d appreciate it if someone turned it into a torrent
I am honestly thought Future PLC would honour their promise to keep the their historical article online, it can’t be that expensive to host them.

I honestly think it’s in their self-interest to do so here, so I had expected them to keep it up for at least several years. It costs them almost nothing and gets them goodwill. By shutting it down they save almost no money and now they have brand damage from enthusiasts.
Sad times.
