They don't make them like they used to right? Caesar III is a classic and you can play it with plenty of enhancements with Julius.

    I remember I was in summer school at some joint when I was 14. It was my first day and I showed up a bit late, and they didn’t have anything for me to do cause I was too late to join the class, and so one of the teachers sat me down at the computer they had and told me to learn about Ancient Rome with this software.

    And I started playing Caesar 3 and it felt vaguely like a punishment. Eventually, it stopped feeling like a punishment, I bought my own copy to play at home, and eventually I bought the GOG version, and I’m still here, 26 years later, wondering why the prefect always turns left at that goddamn intersection, and as a result, entire neighborhoods burn.
