Next time the dad says “Well that went quicker than I thought” you just repeat the same line he said to you.

It is your only effective way of motivating the person to expand and grow their intelligence and self awareness from within. This is ultimately a display of dogma. Dogma is tribalism. To oppose the person in any form of confrontation will only cause them to dig into their dichotomous logic further against this perceived outsider. Their perspective stance is likely rooted in a primitive incomplete morality rooted in ancient uneducated primitive herders and nomads and a superstitious mythology anchored by a schizophrenic man that tried to kill his son due to the voices in his head.

By calling the person’s ethics into question, you force them to think and open up a flank to thrash them.

If one has loose morals, obviously this will be ineffective. I’m not here to judge anyone on where they draw lines in sand and surf. I’m simply saying that homosexuality as a moral dichotomy is a weak point of easy attack against primitive simple idiocy.

In reality, the person is responding, so some element of them still cares and might be resolved. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. Indifference is your only option to truly fight back against hate, but you had better protect your own flank in that position.

Dogma is the worst and ugliest human trait; tribalism is the most dangerous. Together they are impervious to frontal assault and are only possible to disarm from within the individual and tribe.

Don’t be negative with your allies that actually care about you, lest you drive them away too. No one is sending the sacred band to Thermopylae here digital neighbor.
