- Interesting. Now I want to know how many read write cycles can they last. That have always been a problem for my micro SD cards. They just die with frequent writing.

- Why are they making yet another format when we already have SD Express? They could have just made one that supports PCIe 4 or 5 and speed wouldn’t be an issue. - From the article: - To put that in context, the new MicroSD Express cards that work with the Nintendo Switch 2 top out at a theoretical 985MB/s, less than a third the speed. And while a full-size SD Express card could theoretically beat Mini SSD at 3,940MB/s, it would be nearly twice the size of Biwin’s creation. - So: because it’s smaller. - Why would you read the article when you could just complain in the comments?
