Ever heard of a “1517” or a “Mini SSD”?

    Interesting. Now I want to know how many read write cycles can they last. That have always been a problem for my micro SD cards. They just die with frequent writing.

    Why are they making yet another format when we already have SD Express? They could have just made one that supports PCIe 4 or 5 and speed wouldn’t be an issue.

And while a full-size SD Express card could theoretically beat Mini SSD at 3,940MB/s, it would be nearly twice the size of Biwin’s creation.

      So: because it’s smaller.
