The French have a way with words, I must say.
Now, if they had a way with actions…
The french are famous for protest and strikes?
The article is about the French president, don’t think he went on strike recently
Well yeah no shit. He’ll make “peace”, get the donbass, reinforce his army and invade another piece of Ukraine in 6 months to a year when his army has been strengthened.
Are politicians/people really this stupid or do they just not care? Even a 6th grader could see through this stupid plan.
Is the EU going to write some “stern words” to Russia again and daddy Trump will decide an action based on how hard his stool is that day?
God what a clown timeline.
I mean, of course he will. What’s stopping him? There haven’t been any stronger consequences in forever. The sanctions obviously aren’t hitting hard enough and we seem to be unwilling to properly support the Ukraine militarily.
I seriously doubt, that we would stop him if he decided to attack again after signing a treaty, be it Ukraine or the Baltics
I think we need to take a lesson from the war of 1812.
Raze Moscow just like the Canadians did to Washington DC.
Yeah, burn down the Kreml
Putin: Oh, no! Not the interview with harsh words! Oh, that’s too harsh…
I just wish we would allow Ukraine to lob some missiles at moscow
That would be a stupid idea - it would create even more support (if that is possible) for the war in the russian population without achieving anything besides pretty fireworks. It would be much better to support ukraine in targetting military and industrial targets inside russian territories - a war is won with logistics, and if the logistics goes kaboom that would be a problem for the russians.
Also, letting the russian shadow fleet have “unfortunate accidents” would also have more (plausible deniable) effect on the war than lobbing some missiles at moscow.
The only reason there is any support left, is because it happens so far away. When the poor moscowits would have to look into the receiving end of a missile themselves, they would lose their lust for war pretty quickly I would say.
Turning their bases to burned ground is of course also a good idea

Based on my personal interaction with russians and my understand of the “success” of “moral bombing” doring nearly any war i would highly doubt this. If you ask me, if there is a nation which has a more inflated sense of national pride than the US than it is russia…
