    While initially fun, the fact that it’s limited to 7 levels is its Achilles’ heel. It’s relatively short and easy to win. That’s not inherently bad, especially for a mobile game, but it’s sort of counterintuitive for a roguelike IMO

      Yeah I thought it was pretty short too. Maybe that’s deliberate as you unlock new levels and things so can have more shorter play sessions?

    This seems like a great little quick arcade game. One incredibly good minor feature I’ve noticed is that on mobile it automatically pauses if you take your finger off the screen.

      That is handy.

      I’ve had a lot of fun with it. There are a ton of “maps” and powers, some good, some mixed, and some bad. Coin magnet (broken boxes drop coins) is obviously great. The one that makes each box drop one coin more than the last until the ball hits the paddle and resets the coins? A fun challenge. Hitting the top of the screen resets your combo? Annoying.

      Because you start with one power randomly, you’ll want to collect post-level powers with some care to have a chance of doing well.
