• Even if polyamorous marriage was legal we still would not get married. Marriage is just a contract, it does not ‘prove’ love and ioo takes love out of the relationship.

It currently only stands to create a hierarchy and that is something we cannot abide in our relationships: hierarchy.

At least in Germany, being married also brings tax benefits. Also it makes inheritance easier as well as making decisions for your spouse in case of medical tragedy. Kinda worth tbh.

We’re aware of this and think it is shit quite frankly. People should have that right without a contract and what about if someone is polyamorous and has partners they all want those rights for equally? Guess they’re shit out of luck and if they are married only one person gets that right.

Marriage is a shit system and needs to be done away with for a fairer one where people can be with whoever and however many they want and be assured those ‘rights’ that only a contract grants to one person currently.

Me neither, I actually like being aroace and not having to worry about taking care of a wife and children when I’ve had trauma issues with my dad.

Funny enough, my dad called me an atheist for not wanting to be married. That’s the stupidest comparison I’ve ever seen, I’m not even atheist.
