The following comedians were openly critical of those who took the gig. These comedians DID NOT go. Okatsuka specifically revealed the details of the contract these comedians had to sign. Woods made a scathing video that went viral criticizing the lineup.

7·3 days agoI just wonder how a Japanese woman who was a heavy metal drummer and biker has such anti-progressive beliefs and rose to leadership in such a conservative party.
Yeah, these old school award shows feel largely out of touch and in dire need of reimagining. In more normal times, I would have bet on investment in reworking the brand, which I hope is still happening behind the scenes. But with DEI, Black culture and history under direct attack now, it’s not looking good in the near future. On the upside, Black culture is less niche and in need of a separate award show in many ways. It punches way above its weight class with prominence as an economic engine with broad global influence. Something better will come along as creativity is often strengthened by resistance and hardship, and corporatization and money is often the death of it.

11·7 days agoDon’t think there are many left in the middle going about their day like nothing is wrong. Red regions like what is happening, and blue regions are torn between don’t take the bait and can’t sit around doing nothing. Those who don’t like what’s happening are kind of screwed no matter what they do. There are no good options when MAGA has seized so much power and Dems are responding so meekly.
This reads like a tech gossip column.
Discovered and loved Panacea during his brutally dark phase of “Twisted Designz”. Periodically, I’ve checked to see what he’s up to and this one was new to me. Not always a fan but mad respect for always reinventing his sound and not stagnating.
