Well, when a government is currently engaged in a genocide, logic kind of goes out the window.

Just today, they imprisoned the Israeli general who leaked the video rape of a Palestinian prisoner not accused of any actual crimes. One of the rapists has gone public and is vying for public support of Israeli citizens. One of the rapists is showing his face on the streets, while the general who leaked the video is being held.
