Thanks! It’s been going on for like the last month but i think i’m closed to finished thankfully. It’s definitely the most drained I’ve been in a long while, it will be nice to see it through to the end though.

I usually keep a list of what i’m playing, and there’s some games that are just always a constant (Basically any multiplayer game)

That was another complaint I had about 4 and 5. It’s just too busy for me to pick out any enemies. I thought it might just be a me thing with my lack of glass but it’s reassuring to here someone bring it up

I like how Reach handled the sprint. You had it, but you could swap it out for a different power up like the older games. It felt like a balanced way to handle it.

I can’t say I share the same fondness for the armor though. It’s more of a personal thing though. Something about the armor feels very clunky to me

Speaking of the weapons. I absolutely despise using the forerunner weapons. Like. The UNSC Weapons and majority of the covenant weapons control fine, hell, I’d say a few of them control really well. But then the Forerunner weapons feel like they have no impact. It’s some sort of combo of how the Forerunner enemies are and the lack of any sort of haptic feedback.

Maybe it’s just a me thing. It did take me a while to figure out the needler actually needed the shields to be down to explode. So maybe I’m missing something

I imagine I sounded a bit harsher than I meant, but I did somewhat enjoy Halo 4. It’s not the scum of the earth I hear people say it is. But it’s definitely no Bungie Saga either

It’s crazy to think where we’ve gotten so far. I know there’s a lot of points to be made about how we need upscaling and stuff to reach some of these highs, but damn, they still do look really impressive

KOTOR i really liked growing up! Granted i played the mobile Version on a kindle fire i got for free that was going to shit…

That Backlog though is great. Almost all of those except KCD2 i have had a great time with. I even 100% the Oblivion Remaster.

The Silent Hill 2 Remaster is up there in my recommendations, though that’s more of a me thing. Alan Wake (Both 1 & 2) are some of my favorite games of all time too, just a heads up on the second one that it’s only available through Epic on PC. I know that’s a deal breaker for a lot of people, and it almost was for me if i couldn’t add it as a Non Steam Game.

I’m always the man in the truck guy so i get to dodge a lot of the Jumpscares lol. It sucks for my Teammates who are a lot more startled by Jumpscares, because i’m the only one of us who can actually pay attention to the Cameras. The most involvement i have (until 1/2 the team is gone) is going in and dropping cameras down for footage and stuff

Definitely developed a bit of an addiction too it. I even ended up picking up a physical copy of CE from my local game store for 5$. I just need to get an OG Xbox to play it with…

I have! I actually only stopped in the middle of trying to get all the achievements. I was in the middle of my Grounded run when i stopped. I think i got like right to the island

I think i was out of Ammo too so i couldn’t do my usual Spray n’ Pray i do for the flood. It was definitely a fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck moment

I didn’t even know they added new ones lmao. I’ll have to tell my friends because it will be interesting to experience it with them

It’s a niche gripe because i like achievement hunting, but it kills a lot of motivation for me in a game when there’s separate achievements for a high difficulty. I feel like there’s been only 3 times i actively enjoyed it out of all the game’s i’ve done. That being Halo (it’s like a right of passage for that game’s culture, and Halo 2 is the only one that’s the worst), Uncharted 4, and The Last of Us Part II.

There’s also games that are just overloaded with stuff. I’m not sure how to describe it, but a lot of games i’ve run into just feel like they had a ton of stuff shoved in and it just throws me off. The Sonic adventure games were like this for me

I completely get that. With everything going on today it’s just nice too have something like these too look at. Putting these together for an hour or so everyday provides the same relief for me
