I don’t even think “owning the libs” is the primary goal for them. The republicans and libertarians despise public institutions. They want everything to be privatized. They cannot stand that an oligarch is not profiting from the service the USPS provides.
They are constantly trying to undermine the USPS to make it struggle so they can point and say, "Look! Look! See! Government services are bad! We must cut this wasteful spending and outsource mail delivery to Amazon Mail™ "

I think what they mean is that the plastic caps were scratched up in storage before being applied to the bottles, so plastic dust on the inside of the cap before it was installed.

Americans can’t do high speed rail because we have aircraft, automobile, and petroleum industries who don’t want us to.
I don’t want to defend the overly supersized truck too much, but I do want to point out that even these are two different class of vehicles. Sure, you can cram 4 smallish people into that old Ford Ranger, but nobody is going to be comfortable or happy about it. Also, that small ranger has far less cargo and towing capacity.
Of course, a good chunk of truck owners do not need that much capacity and big trucks are just a toy/status symbol to them. Which is stupid. But there are use cases where those trucks are actually needed, and a small Ford Ranger won’t cut it.
That said, I do wish we could get more small pickup trucks again. The maverick is a good start.

I enjoyed the hell out of that game. My only complaint was that the loot lacked variety, and it was a bit more on rails than what I think of as a proper open world RPG.
I can’t think of any that I wasn’t fully aware of the criticism.
But I did play No Man’s Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, and Fallout 76 for hundreds of hours each right at launch and enjoyed every moment without significant issues, despite being fully aware of all the hate being thrown at them at the time.
In theory, if it worked correctly, it should be hygenic and better for the environment. But as other commenters have mentioned, in reality they get jammed alot and so the same wet section gets used over and over. Or the owners don’t actually wash the roll and it just gets respooled and put back when dry.
Yes. It’s a reusable towel system for drying hands in a public bathroom. It’s basically a really long roll of cloth that is supposed to get pulled down as its used and goes down into another rolld and washed and put back. I haven’t seen one in a really long time.
Same. I have well organized bookmarks. 10 Pinned tabs for the essentials, and whatever tabs are necessary for what I’m doing.
When I see someone’s computer with multiple browser windows open with 100s of tabs each, it just seems so overwhelming. You can’t even read the title of the tab when there’s that many open.
