Again, this is not what you asked but I prefer looking at reviews by YouTubers that I know (e.g. Linus Tech Tips). Maybe a ranking system among those in the review biz would not be so prone to bots.

Sending emails is too old, and requires a full online app to send you the reminder. Only google or other big corps support this because a bounced email is retried many hours later… Heck, just the sending might suppose delays. The current calendar solutions give push notifications to clients (e.g. PC or phone)
Also, GNU foundation , software, and license were product of community efforts. Just like science. We only see names because of our own biases towards the cult of personalities. Imho this is bc everyone wants to be a hero, and no one likes thinking we are just pieces playing a role that can very much be carried out by other people sooner or later. That’s why we all should be doing our greatest efforts, even if you are not the legend you may want to be in whatever field of work you’re doing…
Can’t you bypass the peerturbe limitation by having everything inside a wireguard VPN? There are some wireguard UIs that may come in handy to set things up…
Maybe we should have a wikiton event to update the organized knowledge and all replies to such question post pointing users to “our” docs would be more than welcome. Specially instead all these arguments that tbh have their own sense of truth on each side…
I love rsnapshot, but prefer snapshots on COW filesystems ;)
Nice to put some website on Gemini for example too!
I heard some people would do ‘domain fronting’ to mask packages as going to a web that was unmetered (e.g. Google or the providers own site). But I never tried it, only heard of the trick when it was too old (counter back measures finally catch up). But you can try… there it’s, that rabbit hole… GL&HF!
Installation on phone from F-droid (Syncthing-fork) gives a 1-way share of your Camera to backup to PC whenever you get back home. That’s my top usecase… Together with syncing KeePass database since long ago too.
Haha. Just like the rest of the world then, matey ;)

Interestingly, those islands are on argentinean sea. There’re international laws that would say they are argentinean land… Even if they were occupied since maybe even before the two English invasions on Buenos Aires, a few centuries ago.
I wrote a small homage to Alexandra Elbakyan on my PhD Thesis because her courage and dedication helped me get throw that stage of my academic life. Here are the URLs listed on Wikipedia. They might be blocked by DNS providers, but afaik the project is alive and works for many papers (unless it’s too recent) ymmv.

Wakatime has a rich ecosystem of plugins and integrates with most software applications (e.g. vim), and something similar might be said of project hamster. Anyway , I’d recommend timewarrior since it’s what I had in the past…
Deemix and spotube
What about other devices? Do they connect to it? If so , the issue would be something at the phone or mobile network provider…
What about gallery-dl ? It’s on GitHub and apparently support both websites
Indeed, together with Jellyfin (or any other software) running at the computer connected to the TV via HDMI. There’s also gsconnect if user had a GTK-based desktop (e.g. Gnome) instead of Qt (e.g. KDE Plasma).
There’s affine.pro too which seems similar
Rather use a smaller app, like FileBrowser
