There were likely rapes that occurred on October 7th, and there have been rapes of Israeli detained Palestinian hostages as well. How can you not see that one is now being used as a racial justification for genocide while the other is ignored.

What’s controversial is the depiction of Palestinians as rapists and outlining a systemic, racial, or cultural issue of rape within Arab populations, then pointing to the few instances it does occur as proof for a racist point of view.

I’ve never understood people who are this hostile towards someone who refuses to vote. This makes me want to vote even less.

Your position is fair, but my protest vote is also a fair position. We can agree to disagree.

This is not a matter of me not voting for the lesser evil. This is me letting the DNC know that I will not be held hostage for a candidate that is marginally better.

I’m not going to hold it against people for voting for damage reduction. Its an understandable position. But I think not voting for a conservative genocide financier is understandable too. If they want my vote they can offer a better candidate next cycle.

The US has vetoed both ceasefires. They still haven’t blocked aid in the form of munitions to Israel. They haven’t stopped the Rafah offensive. They pulled funding from UNRWA to shield Israel from the ICJ ruling. I am completely unsure how Trump could be worse on the matter of this genocide. Biden has done everything possible wrong in this situation. That is why I will be abstaining from voting.

That is not what the ICJ ruling means. They do not have the power to convict nations or individuals of genocide. It was simply a preliminary hearing to see if a full trial is warranted. You’re misrepresenting the courts decision either ignorantly or maliciously.
