Are all the small dots the insects he killed? Does he have to hug each mosquito too? I see a snake in there, hopefully he can just smile and nod.

For people in a rush they are real food that is hot and ready. Grab it at the store, get a side dish, slice it up, and it’ll feed a family for a meal or more.
I think they’ve caught on because many couples have full time jobs, and want to eat something that isn’t total garbage. They also don’t feel like cooking or the mess.
There may be something to a general malaise driving these chicken behaviors, but we defunded the people that could study that.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•I was recently gifted a Steam Deck for Christmas! If you only had a budget of, let's say 50 bucks, what would you get?
2·17 天前I’ve been playing this the last two days. It is great, but very addicting.

I was annoyed by this the other day. Just swapped motherboards in a server machine in my house and I had to find a mouse to quickly navigate the bios.
I could have done it with the keyboard, sure, but I weighed the amount of time to fumble vs the time to dig through a drawer.
Pihole is great, little hardware projects are fun (touchscreen calendar in the kitchen). They also make great emulators for old systems if you want to install a gaming oriented OS like retropie or lakka and get a gamepad or two.
I personally wouldn’t use it for a server, but it’s a good learning environment to figure out how to run services.
The beauty of the pi is it is an SD card swap away from doing a different job. You can buy a few fast cheap 16-32gb SD cards and play around with different options and operating systems.
Or you can do what I do: get it all set up, shut it down, and forget it exists until you have some wild idea.
Even though it isn’t real, the thumb being practically under the knife is triggering me. The sushi looks pretty good though.
The most liquid to come out of their ass since childhood.

1·1 个月前You could say “I actually want to know… {{question}}?” Or “Sincerely, …”
If someone starts making up new abbreviations I’m probably not going to take their question seriously /!s

Normal plants are great too, but clearly you are a person of taste.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Lemmings over 30 who try to stay active, what are you doing to accommodate for your incredibly decrepit bodies to avoid boo-boos?
8·2 个月前I still lift weights, although now it is more about staying toned than getting huge gains. I also try to do cardio at least twice a week.
Injuries are harder to recover from so if something starts to hurt in a bad way I stop and do something else.

It didn’t work because it was up to the sites to read and respect the flag, which they did not.

Games@lemmy.world•What's a recent game you've tried playing that isn't worth the hype?English
3·2 个月前I’m grinding through this one now. The graphics are great, and the game does feel like a modern doom, but the fun does seem to be lacking.
I’ll finish it, but don’t think I’d replay it.
