according to the article provided in that post they’re just foreign branches of china’s police force dedicated to cracking down on political dissidents and scamming

where did you see/hear about this?

Ok but who elected this transitional council? What makes them good choices for rebuilding the country’s institutions? Do they have detailed plans for what they’re going to do when they form the government? I think it’s crazy to believe they can repair the institutions of a country that has been dysfunctional since independence in the span of two years

no but of course there are times when you think maybe there’s a better way to govern ourselves but even if there was such a way humans will always hope for something more

the ui/ux needs work, most people don’t care about privacy, it’s mostly used by tech people and link aggregators in general tend to have very niche userbases

because classism exists everywhere and even though it may manifest a bit differently it’s still the same essence

there is zero forms of energy that doesn’t damage the environment in some way

what are you going to use it for?

really don’t like when people romanticize poverty but if I had to guess why people say that poorer countries feel more authentic it’s just due to the fact that it’s different to what they’re accustomed to and this could be replicated by just going to the poorer areas in their own country

  1. I just explained why a law would be a poor tool to solve this problem

  2. All countries on the continent are not former france colonies and even for those that are we can clearly see states like senegal making real effort to create jobs so that completely negates the idea that france is responsible for everything wrong with Africa and further validates my talk about failure on the part of African governments

They have laws against child labour and all other ills that plague the continent so they wouldn’t need a new law to do this all they would need to do is enforce the law which is one of the major problems with Africa laws aren’t usually enforced and when they are it’s done often for political goals instead of justice furthermore it wouldn’t actually solve the problem at all. The way to solve the problem in the long term is to fix their system of governance so they can ensure all monies in the treasury are accounted for and are used for their intended purpose so that they can an environment in which people can well paying jobs, peace and dignity and in the term short term to put the parents in some skills training and ensuring the children don’t work in unsafe conditions instead of fining the poor parents.

individuals should be free to engage in any activity they see fit with the state’s only legitimate role to protect the life, liberty and property of it’s citizens, any force therefore that is not in retaliation to the use of force by another person no matter if the intention is to create a just society based on one’s ideals is immoral

yeah so once you believe force at any kind is justified to force your ideals on society you’re not a libertarian of any kind as for your op yes this is community is for the discussion of freeing oneself from any abuse no matter the source

What do you think about private property?

Do you think everyone should be forced into whatever your preferred property rights regime is ?

What do you think about a market economy ?

Do you think libre software licences should force individuals to keep derivatives open source or that they should be free to use it however they see fit including in proprietary software?

Do you believe that it’s ethical to force your ideals on society based on the premise that the outcome would be beneficial to all?

If a country cab just declare itself socialist and not commit itself to any firm principles underlying it’s economic system but just adopt whatever it’s non ideological neighbors are doing then clearly it’s a fraud
