Probably not a stremio app issue but addon issue. I’ve read a lot that Torrentio is known to be buggy from time to time. I don’t watch english stuff so can’t really recommand addons but you need to try another one. If i remember, there is one called Comet but they are others available.

A pi5 with 1gb ram will always be cheaper but that’s not enough ram for your usecase, search n150 at Aliexpress, you can often find some mini pc for around 150-160€ on sale with n150, 12gb lpddr5 (or 16gb ddr4 sodim) and 500gb SSD. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ5k2Uu This one was 153€ couple of days ago. Thay are other Chinese brand like soyo, beelink, bmax that have similar hardware. They are not as good as NUC, but they do the job for way cheaper.

Home assistant is a beast, not sure openhab can actually match it today. Unless you already have a pi5 and a SSD (avoid micro sd card), you could consider a mini pc with n150 (or n100) processor. It doesn’t consume much power (close to pi5) and it will be more powerful and more Ram which will be useful for immich.

Start with zigbee first, much more mature than thread. I don’t personaly use thread but i believe some zigbee dongle also can deal with thread at the same time.

About the setup. If mini pc, you can use proxmox so you will be able to create a VM for home assistant and another one for immich.

Le problème est lié à l’upload, tu peux envoyer des données mais sans le port forwarding tu te connectes à beaucoup moins de peers. C’est assez négligeable pour le téléchargement mais pas pour l’envoi de données. De cela il résulte que c’est plus compliqué de garder un bon ratio sur les trackers privé. Si tu regardes la doc de cyberghost, ils te diront qu’ils font du port forwarding mais le tuto indique de le faire sur ta box internet avec un port que tu définies. C’est en effet la manip mais quand on utilise pas de vpn… En revanche, avec un vpn ce n’est pas normal, le vpn est censé créé un tunnel avec leur serveur et c’est sur leur serveur que le port forwarding doit être activé. On trouve aussi des serveurs dit torrenting mais nul part on trouve le port à utiliser (que l’on doit renseigner dans son client torrent).

Évite cyberghost, pas de vrai port forwarding dispo, ceux que je vois souvent recommandé pour le torrent c’est airvpn et proton vpn

To just store your printer there if you are not printing isn’t big issue as long as you don’t live in a too humid place, if I was to do that, I would leave printer in his original box to avoid collecting dust on it and would drop a few silicate bags. Two primary issues for printing will be to maintain your filament dry (enough) and warping due to the difference of temperature

Si ta box internet le permet, regarde le bruit numérique sur les différents canaux, changer de canal peut aider dans certains cas. Bien que le 5ghz permet des débits plus important, le 2.4ghz porte le signal plus loin. À moins d’avoir besoin de télécharger de gros volume, le 2.4ghz suffit amplement pour une utilisation classique (plus limitant pour par exemple du streaming 4k avec bitrate élevé). Si l’électricité chez toi n’est pas trop vieux, une paire de cpl avec une sortie wifi peut grandement amélioré la stabilité, l’internet passe alors par les câbles électriques (son efficacité dépend de la vétusté de l’installation électrique). Sinon un système de mesh WiFi en plaçant stratégiquement chaque appareil.

Concernant les interférences pouvant être causées par des appareils électriques, je ne suis pas un expert mais ça peut venir de tout et n’importe quoi (un grille pain, machine à laver, un chargeur…) il faut alors les débrancher électriquement (pas juste la position éteinte de l’appareil)

Edit: comme l’a dit leftacenter, l’idéal reste de pouvoir passer un câble ethernet

Ça dépend beaucoup de la configuration de ta maison. Et le wifi est aussi sujet aux interférences, suffit d’un appareil pour que ça déconne

That might depends on how your AC is working, I recently did the same at my dad’s house and run into issues because the temp control for the unit is reading from the remote. So when I sent infrared command to turn off unit, it worked as expected for some minutes then turned back on because remote sent back command as temp wasn’t meet. Still need to do a lot of testing to find a way to make it work, might need to disable remote and use some temp sensors for the triggering part but not sure how that will work, might need to use some hysterisis friendly climate addon for that…

There is so many things you can do with home assistant therefore not easy to explain all possibilities, here are a few things that comes to mind.

Many smart home users prefer to not depend on cloud giant and that’s a way to keep it local and keep everything in just one app even if devices are not same brand. It can just trigger light automatically depending of scenarios (if you have earring issue, it can trigger some light when someone rings at the door). You could have switch that are not well placed and are not practical and it enables you to add wireless switches elsewhere. It can also monitor appliances (and/or services) so it can remind you stuff (useful for some people that easily forget things) like emptying washing machine, taking trash out… (No need to add many daily reminder in your agenda which would have single notification that you will wipe out and forget). You can add security cameras and keep them local only. It can remind you to close windows when you just left home or because it started raining. It is also a way to monitor for exemple water leaks so you can react quicker to avoid big damages (imagine a small leak behind a sink which you wouldn’t notice for quite sometimes) same thing applies for smoke detectors, CO2 levels…

The list of things it can do is really endless.

J’ai regardé vite fait les spécifications de ton appareil ainsi que le manuel et je comprends que tu peux avoir du mal. Pas certain que ça vaut le coup de creuser avec honnêtement… Il est d’ailleurs mentionné dans le manuel que la mise au point sur des sujets lointain est difficile.

Ceci dit, si tu veux des conseils de réglages pour cet appareil ou un autre, tu peux me contacter en privé si tu veux. Essaie juste de comprendre avant grâce à des vidéos ou bouquin selon tes préférences les bases (les iso, vitesse d’obturation, ouverture,…). On peut le faire aussi en privé mais par message, ce serait assez long. Pas de soucis en revanche pour t’apporter des détails supplémentaires une fois que tu auras capté un peu.

C’est quoi ton matériel actuel? Si boîtier canon, est ce que tu utilises le mode servo, pour que le focus reste sur le sujet en mouvement. Quelles sont sinon les réglages sur tu utilises ? Tout automatique ? Priorité à la vitesse… (Donne autant de détails que tu peux). Ce sont des éléments très important pour avoir une photo qui ne soit pas flou. Le mode automatique est à bannir pour le genre de photos que tu veux faire. Bien connaître son appareil et apprendre à l’utiliser pleinement pour adapter les réglages aux conditions extérieures est aussi crucial, encore plus avec du matériel non pro, semi pro.

Sinon, sans dépenser des sommes folles, il faut observer les habitudes des animaux, se construire un affût au bon endroit, les prendre quand ils ne bougent pas et surtout, avoir de la patience.

Only thing is I don’t know it if requires to be in France to access it but vpn would solve that.

If you go on any French download website mentioned in fhym, look for files with “multi” so you will get subtitles in English.

I totally agree with you, like always politician have an idea but don’t even state how to realise it… So possibly this will actually never happen.

One thing that come to my mind is that manufacturer could maybe use some kind of hash database of firearms related files. While printer are not very powerful, that’s something that could be done on slicer but that would mean the death of open source software (at least in USA) as to implement this every manufacturer would need to force customer using their slicer. Also, wondering how much power demanding it is for printer to recreate solid object, could they just read gcode to analyse object? and since guns are not 25cmx25cmx25cm, it’s not like this would take ages to analyse.
