I’ve heard that cited in stories, usually older. A baby dies and they blame someone leaving the door open too long and letting in a draft.

It’s subtle, but I only use just enough to pop the kernels. I also have a jar of it by the stove most of the time.
Never tried Ghee. I usually use canola, coconut, or bacon grease. I’m up for more buttery flavor though. Thanks!
The beatings will continue until morale improves. You WILL behave for the shareholders.
It’s definitely a wait and see situation. My Reddit account is gone, so if Lemmy continues to grow I see no reason why I’d go back. If Lemmy dies, then obviously I wouldn’t have anywhere else to go.
Yes, sort of.
My 20s saw my first real back, ankle, and knee injuries/soreness. Also had my first crown done around then. I felt pretty depressed about it.
I picked up stretching, yoga, and low impact cross training. 20 years later I can honestly say that my back and knees have never been better. I’m a lot more thoughtful about preparation and risks I choose to take.
It’s far from perfect, but I’m taking a stand.
Half the reason I used Reddit was to cure boredom. I’ve decided to find other things to do. The other main reason I loved to check in was to make sure I don’t miss big news. So far, Lemmy seems to scratch that itch. It’ll take a long time for niche communities to establish, but I’ll just deal with that for now. Maybe I’ll just go back to some old forums for that purpose.
People always referred to subreddits as a sub or community anyway. Easy.
Debates are going to be sponsored and watched like sports, moreso than they already are. It’s gonna be a shit show.
Yeah, deleted RIF early and just pretend it doesn’t exist. I’ll probably use it if a useful answer pops up on Google, but not for scrolling.
Lemmy and Threads will have to fill the gap for now, but if they grow I don’t see a problem at all.
