Seems like a win win. Reddit is fine with it and becomes a site promoting that Taiwan is a country and spreading awareness of Tiananmen Square massacre 1989. While subs return to normal.
Or reveals themselves to be the mouth piece of the CCP if they force removal of Taiwan is a country and Tiananmen Square massacre 1989.
Edit: #taiwanisacountry should be enough. That mere statement has been enough for western capitalists to quake in fear.

Why wouldn’t comrades be for it?
I’m sure they’d also like to see where Reddit stands. If Reddit brings down the ban hammer then they can declare Reddit conquered and declare it their secondary haven.
This is putting Reddit to the test to see where they lie politically. Then comrades from /r/sino can come out freely. I’m sure they don’t like the mention of Taiwan as a country or Tiananmen Square massacre 1989, but it could be seen as merely a false statement for the better good.
And I don’t mean doing this on kbin.social/m/RedditMigration
It’s posting in that manner of adding #Taiwanisacountry #TiananmenSquaremassacre1989 at the end of posts on subs that are protesting on reddit.com. It allows subs to stay on topic like reddit wishes.
No need for hostilities to comrades. This should only be a reddit.com only move.
That’s how I see it too. Taiwan can’t be a country since Taipei is the real capital of China.
Why would lemmy.ml or lemmygrad deny that taiwan is a country or deny that the tiananmen square massacre 1989 was a horrible crime worth pointing out? People who actually believe that the chinese government is marxist in any way, either fall for chinese propaganda or they fall for US propaganda which is in this case telling the same obvious lie just with a different connotation and objective. I would hope that most lemmy.ml or lemmygrad users don’t fall for that crap and thus don’t sympathize with the chinese government either. One can critisize capitalism and “free” markets and US imperializm and war crimes without being a fan of china or thinking taiwan wouldn’t be its own country…
