Alexandria would be a good stop, but I’m making several stops before then.

So many Norse deities we still know so little about… So many tiny Greek cults who viewed a deity in a slightly different way.

Me, frantically searching for tidbits of LGBT history suppressed by the Catholic Church when choosing which works to reproduce

      I KNOW IT’S OUT THERE

Albeit a wee bit later than the burning of the Library: basically all the gold from the Americas. The Catholic Church essentially melted Incan cultures, including their LBGTQ histories, and gilded the Vatican with it.

Those were more than just gold beads when you consider the Khipu system and more than just religious offerings when you just look at the Muisca raft.

I’d say intercept some of those boats heading back, but most of the melting into ingots was done in the Americas by the freshly enslaved. You’d have to just sink Columbus or Cortes off the coast of Spain just for starts…

Pulls another one of ZILtoid1991’s dehydrated corpse out of a Type II meta-stable paradox mobius strip

radios in “Yeah we finally fished all 2,165,345,211 bodies and shotgun pairs out. Took fuckin long enough, thank God the loop ended early or we would have had a real problem. They must have finally tripped and shot themselves dead on a trip going in”

"The singularity should be closing up shortly. Im not doing this shit again, sending you a picture of the mountain of clone corpses, make sure to put this in your stupid textbook in a section on exactly why YOU DONT TRY TO GO BACK AND SOLVE A PROBLEM BEFORE IT EXIST.

I don’t know how to make this any clearer. I don’t know whats so hard to understand about the idea If they solve the problem too early, then they never needed to solve the problem, and will get stuck in a recursive loop of never solving the problem. How has this happened three times in a month already? Ill tape the fucking clone corpse mountain picture onto a snarky sign inside the time machine door myself."

Ooooooh, this is about taking books -from- history. That’s good too.

I think I’d probably bring history books back to them… let them know what kind of shitshow is coming so maybe they can prevent it…? I’d love to not exist because the world isn’t on this timeline anymore.

Oh hey, maybe that’s why they burned the library!

Much of the plot for “Just One Damned Thing After Another” by Jodi Taylor. British humorous scifi / historical fiction, pretty good at it too. Fair warning, it starts the “The Chronicles of St. Mary” series, which is quite long.

ACKSHUALLY they’d be scrolls. Maybe a couple books that are heavily guarded.

Srs tho, I think it would be better to time travel with an attack helicopter.
