I’ve seen many people talk about how they really like using YouTube ReVanced as their main way of watching YT on their phones.

I’ve also seen people talk about NewPipe aswell. Personally, I use NewPipe because I can’t stand the YouTube app, and I don’t want to set up ReVanced for it. I just want something that works.

So to you Lemmy users, which do you use and why? What is about your choice that you like?

    One of the pipe forks for me. One apk, simple to install, update and use. Also no accounts so the platform is used very differently. With pipe, I search for a video or playlist and piss off when its over. There’s no customized feed of videos I might be interested in, so I don’t get swallowed into it.
