Some pretty hateful things happen all throughout the new testament: Acts 5, Acts 12, Mark 11, the whole pig thing in Matthew/Mark/Luke, Matthew 10, all of Revelation.
Also sweeping things like the continued existence (and condoning) of slavery in Ephesians, Colossians, and other places, the existence of Hell as an eternal spirit torture prison, the use of rape as punishment for sexual crimes on multiple occasions.
It really shouldn’t come as a surprise that the concept of a “hate pastor” can arise from a religion that says everyone who thinks a little differently than them is doomed to eternal torture.
