I think so. I know models really well. I even regularly follow one of the leading light researchers in the space of AI. I do not know of a model that does water this well. So I do not think it came from AI. It could be a conventional deepfake and perhaps the novelty is potential pay off for such an endeavor. From that perspective, skepticism is always healthy, especially when the source is anon from 4chan. I wouldn’t write a dissertation on the content, but in my opinion, the level of skepticism for this one is no different than any other such content since the dawn of the 90s internet. I don’t stress about the state of the cat and just enjoy the box as a box.
