Look, as someone who is 100% the target demographic, I get it. The tickets are comically expensive, Vegas sucks to visit and is also too expensive, the talent is getting old, the whole thing is very clearly a nostalgia-bait cash grab designed by a marketing firm, but I get it. I missed a lot of these bands during their heyday, and it would be fun to cross them off the list.
That said, if someone were actually considering going to this then I’d tell them they’d be better off going to Riot Fest instead. Similar genre focus, vastly better value, and you get to visit Chicago.
I’m also 100% the target demographic. I have a few friends going. But too rich for my blood.
