Current Version: Boost Beta 1.0.22 (26)

Issue: When I send DMs, the keyboard always covers the message input box at the bottom of the UI, making it impossible to see what I am typing.

To workaround, I switch to the WebUI for messages (which is worse for its own reasons) or I write my message in a different app and then cut and paste it into the Boost message field.

Okay, I knew that many keyboards could be moved, but I never actually found a use case for the feature. I don’t know why it hadn’t dawn on me before.

I just sent you a DM testing out if the input box would flow into new lines (it does) and if I can move my keyboard at the same time as using speech-to-text. (Yes, you can). (And yes, I’m horrible at texting and so I tend to use speech to text.)

Anyway, it’s not a fix obviously, but it’s a better work around than what I was using before. I feel silly for not thinking of it before, so thank you for reminding me! 💯

Another workaround is closing the keyboard and pressing the full screen icon in the reply field

Fixing it for a new beta

        Thank you, Rubén.

I feel silly for not noticing that icon. 🤦🏽 It does provide a new layout with the original message at the top followed by the text area control. The keyboard anchors properly at the bottom with the input control properly using a scrollpane for multi line text.

My only wish, if I may say so, is adjusting the message context at the top pane to show as:

        • (mvp) the last message from the other person, or ideally
        • the whole messages exchange (scrollable) vertically aligned to the bottom (or the last few messages)

Anyway, thanks for everything. Glad to support what you do!
