If there was a bus company near me that let you have fixed shifts, maybe I’d do it.

That’s why I didn’t become a bus driver myself. I don’t like rotas. I like to know what hours I’m working, week after week.

It’s why I’m one of few employees at my current employer who has fixed hours. I negotiated for it in lieu of promotion (which I didn’t want anyway - more responsibility without more pay, no thanks)
