    Although Turing only wrote code for one program in the early 1950s, and had no direct involvement with computing during the war.

        Unfortunately Turing’s code was buggy and needed to be fixed by Geoff Tootill before it would run. His later Chess game was too complex for the hardware. He was better at big picture thinking and writing the manual.
