Shit-hole countries need shit-hole social media.
So is this place, by banning them, but this post blaming X in a more straightforward/intuitive way is at the top of my homepage right now.
The modern internet’s echo chambering scheme is so insidious, it’s almost clever.
The President right now would be more like Zohran than Donald, if reddit stayed behind the leadership of Aaron Swartz - instead of selling out, taking money to interrupt what was being done with humanity’s communication infrastructure.
Now, Zuck/Elon/spez/etc have fully constructed their machine, and yet, so many people still somehow can’t even see the shape of it.

My point was more that being a Nazi is the same as being a Nazi, whether you do it quiet or loud.
Non-Nazis don’t censor political discussion, whether it’s censoring “don’t kill Jews” to directly boost “kill Jews” messaging, or censoring “kill Jews” to indirectly boost “kill Jews” messaging. Non-Nazis are smart enough to avoid going along with fascism or helping justify ethnic cleansing.
Anyway, “not a serious person” doesn’t sound like the wording of a very intelligent person, but I was serious and correct.
