Your comment is there but it has been automatically minimized as it got many down votes. If you click the little double arrow icon it will maximize your comment and you’ll be able to see everything.
There is a cutoff point where the comment won’t be shown, even minimized. Everyone can set this cutoff point to whatever they want, at https://piefed.social/user/settings/filters in the “Reply hide threshold” field. That might be what stopped @blaze@piefed.zip from seeing your comment on piefed.zip - I don’t know what Blazes’ setting is for that but if it was -20 then he wouldn’t see your -25 comment.

Thank, i’m realizing that part is missing in the wiki. :)
Where is that button? Or has this changed since you replied due to fluctuating vote scores?
Edit: I was wrong, Rimu was right, see below
Actually, I double checked, and what happened on my side is that that thread was hidden as I block lemmynsfw.com instance
I opened the https://piefed.zip/c/linux/p/668679/debian-s-apt-will-soon-begin-requiring-rust-debian-ports-need-to-adapt-or-be-sunset#post_replies link in a private window and was able to see it
@rimu@piefed.social FYI
Interesting. Wonder what the issue is on my end then
Hm, actually I was wrong, I did not block lemmynsfw.com.
Your comment appears on Piefed.social on a private window
Ok, so I double checked my settings and indeed, there’s a difference between the threshold to collapsed and the one to minimize
I guess that if I setup my threshold lower (to -50 for instance) I would see your comment.
So yeah @rimu@piefed.social you were right from the beginning.
Edit: just edited to -50, I can indeed see the comment while being logged in:
Thanks for figuring it out 🔥
