Regarding the notifications, if it turns up and you long press on it, you get into the settings and can turn it off.
Somehow had to do it couple of times but now since more then a week I don’t get them anymore.
Yeah I agree with you, they probbaly thought would be a nice feature to make people aware of tracking. But as nearly every up has dozens of trackers it gets annoying.
Agreed, it’s widget is fine. Also if you haven’t discovered the launcher Fossify Launcher yet. Worth a look. Returns /e/os closer to vanilla android. Let’s you place widgets where you want.
