Blocking honestly isn’t enough imo. I am up to 13 blocks for one user that constantly makes new accounts under the same name on different instances. Being able to simply filter them out by username would be fantastic.

This issue sounds rather… universal.
I mean, that’s a thing, but someone has made it a mission to repost every post from .ml to .world or similar. It is spam, full stop.

PieFed (which works with voyager) has this although it’s an admin setting. If you can find an agreeable admin then an instance move might be in your future.
I do have a piefed account, but I am waiting for Voyager to take advantage of more of its features before I start using it more. That may be some time, I know but this my preferred client.

Yeah, I saw an account made there from this user and knew at that point that it’s gone beyond a vendetta and into a campaign. I do not want multiple posts in my feed (like most people, I think) and this is the prime offender.
And, somehow, every single post they make no matter the account is heavily upvoted.

just another temporary fix to a larger federation problem.
take it up to the admins, let them know that specific instances refuse to stop abuse from their users. maybe they’ll get defederated.
I’ve been thinking about an auto hide feature for when I don’t want to block that user but I don’t want to see their ten thousand posts a day.
