I saw a few years ago that he goes to the gym somewhat regularly. Amazing at his age but probably what is keeping him alive. “A body in motion, stays in motion”, I’ve heard people say.
He’s such an awesome person all around. Here’s hoping he’ll get to experience the 100th anniversary of his show!
He’s very spry. I went to an event honoring the Sherman brothers (composers for the Mary Poppins music) and I saw him pull some dance moves on stage as well as do a rap version of one of the songs. This was a few years ago so he must’ve been early 90s.
Many years ago I read, “What you do in middle age determines what you can do in old age.”
Passing through middle-age, yeah, it’s true. My diet and “sustainable” alcolism aside, I move, I can still move. At 54 I have zero back, knee, joint, whatever problems. Helps being non-fat. I think that’s a major thing for younger people suffering pains.
