Yeah. There are a lot of people outside of the country who do not even have the limited legal recourse available to me, should I be snatched from the street. For those this administration has harmed both actively and passively outside the borders, there is not even really the opportunity to be one of the few who gets an active effort to pull from their fucked up systems.

People are kind, a state can’t be kind, it just is.
I’m sure Germans are generally kind of folks but by and large states do not extend social welfare benefits to non-citizens.
