The ideal CEO-to-worker pay ratio is, depending on the source, around 25-1. Somewhere above 40 or 50, it’s seen as toxic. Current ratio is now often 200-1, so definitely in the venomous region.
Salaries should reflect the value contributed to society.
Therefore CEOs shouldn’t earn one, they should pay billions in damages for every second they spend “working”.
