    Dutch cyclists can be wild. Once when visiting Amstrdam as a tourist, I got yelled at by a grandpa for blocking the cycle road.

    Hmm, still looks pretty hard to cross. I’d never have the confidence to just suicide out across like some of those pedestrians did.

      Bicycles are slower, slimmer and more nimble then cars. So it is less of a problem, when you are used to it. You still need to look though.

      I visited Netherlands for a short vacation, and if you choose to walk everywhere, you get a hang of it pretty fast as a pedestrian. I’m definitely jealous of cycling culture there, lol.
