The Democrats were never our friend. The Republicans are merely worse.

You know, I’ve held my opinions about Donald Trump but he really couldn’t have gotten to the point he has without the help of good ol’ Hillary Rodham.
hosted by an Israeli newspaper on Tuesday that young Americans were becoming sympathetic toward Palestinians because they watch “totally made up” videos of the horrors in Gaza on social media.
The videos broadcast by mainstream news outlets of Israel’s war crimes are fake?
I’m so sick of reading this shit from liberals. It took less than a year for them to sound like Republicans did a year ago.
And Democrats decided she was a better option than Bernie.
Their donors did, and the Dem party obeyed.
Who picked this scab and got it oozing again?!!
What a thoroughly awful human being.
This kind of thing is why she loat an election to Donald Trump of all people. She had the easiest race in history, but failed because she is a deeply unlikable shill
Biggest loser. And apparently only gives third rate blow jobs.
Her worst transgression
I’d be ok if we could all act like not a fucking thing this publicity hag says matters.
Honestly, I could totally dig having never seen this article or discussion.
If anybody’s brain has gone rotten by the algorithm it’s Hillary’s. I’m upset people are arranging a stage and microphone just to ask her about her worst possible stances, at some point it’s gotta be considered elder abuse.
people are arranging a stage and microphone just to ask her about her worst possible stances, at some point it’s gotta be considered elder abuse.
Lmao my bizarre ADHD brain made me think this meant people were trolling her by setting up the stage and microphone in awkward ways so she’d have to answer in uncomfortable positions, and I was kinda all for that.
I should sleep lol.
Honestly if the Clinton’s (Hillary specifically) could just shut the fuck up forever we would all be better off.
Well not so fast - I wanna hear from bubba on whether orange mussolini gives toothy head or not
A-fucking-men to that.
These fucking over-privileged cunts have already screwed us so badly it’ll take decades to recover if we even can at this point. They both need to shut up and get the fuck out.
Is this the new Hasbara talking point being pushed by Israel PR? First that Obama speechwriter says it and now Hillary
No, it’s because they watch tiktoks made by IDF soldiers
“Totally made up”
Does she not realize literally anyone can go to Google Maps and see a flattened city?
They’re going to have to fix that for US users, like the Bay of America
Excuse me, it’s the Gulf of America! And don’t you forget it!
salutes the flag, dramatic music plays, fireworks go off, and everyone claps as a single tear falls from my patriotic eye
Needs more bald eagles.
And golden toilets.
Nah those buildings just uh all fell down by themselves . Total coincidence.
Recently Israeli settlres attacked the christian village of taibeh and set fire to a bunch of the town and the church of st george, and destroyed the water system. Then when accused of it they claimed they hadnt done it and the christians had torched their own village and destroyed their own water supply.
The
lesser oftwo evils.Clinton? A zionist? You don’t say! Colour me unsurprised.
I’m not so much pro-Palestine as anti-Israel if that makes sense. I realize the conflict is complex and they’ve all been horrible to each other for as long as anyone can remember, but Israel’s bullshit has gone too far. It’s inevitable to side with the Palestinians who have to live in terror every single day.
Calling it complex only serves Israeli agenda.
The issue is simple - No amount of complexity justifies a genocide.
Saying the history isn’t complex is just stupid though. You can identify that the history is complex without taking away from the fact that there’s a genocide going on.
I can concede that the conflict can present “complex” at first glance due to some Palestinians taking arms and themselves doing some heinous acts.
But this is all downstream of an illegal occupation by Israel. This conflict really isn’t that complex. End the illegal occupation, then you can reasonably expect violent resistance to die down and to talk your way through it.
You’re only thinking about the violence aspect, but we’re more discussing the geopolitics of the region. It’s not only complicated because Palestinians defended themselves— that kind of thinking is what serves Israel. It’s complicated because there is a long history of border drawing by colonialists, incoming and outgoing governments, a history of backstabbing particularly by the Israelis…complex news doesn’t serve anyone but just accurately describes a geopolitical conflict.
The illegal occupation has been going for decades. Yes, there is a lot of individual political events.
But I don’t see how a macro analysis can end any ways other than “shits happened during this colonization of Palestine; Israel, UK and US are to blame for most evil shit”.
…but my point is explaining how everyone is complicit and how things have gotten to where they are is a long and complex history. Saying it’s complicated and saying Israel has committed genocide are not mutually exclusive. Most people actually don’t understand it, or could give a half accurate representation of the situation if asked. And that includes people who claim to have strong feelings, whether true or otherwise. In fact I’d argue asking really any follow up questions would leave a majority stumped, only a minority could give you more. It’s complex, end of. All genocides actually are. It doesn’t change the fact that they’re genocides.
Yeah this is it right here, said more elequently than I could have managed lol
Palestine needs support, and the rhetoric that its a complex or morally grey situation just needlesly complicates and delays progress.
No, you can acknowledge that complexity of the conflict and history without condoning Israel’s actions.
Discouraging people from appreciating nuance and encouraging them to think about a complex problem simplistically (as you are doing) is what tends to serve an agenda.
I agree with you, but I think you’re taking one idea to leverage another to arrive at a conclusion that I’m not promoting. The other commenters seem to have interpreted well what I’m trying to say.
