Do you know where your Covid-19 vaccine card is? If not, you may want to track it down, because getting a new one could be tricky.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is no longer distributing the white cards that were given out with Covid-19 vaccines earlier in the pandemic, according to the agency’s website.
The CDC notes that it does not keep vaccination records and says recipients should contact their state health department’s immunization information system (IIS) if they want to keep track of their Covid-19 shots.
Yeah, I got my booster last week and they didn’t ask for my card and I forgot to take it out at the time because it was a family thing and I was dealing with my daughter’s nervousness, so apparently they no longer give a shit.
It would be in your state medical records. I believe the card was just to show proof of vaccination during the pandemic domestic or international. All my vaccinations are under my MRN (medical record number) so the card serves no purpose.
In my experience they stopped giving a shit almost immediately after issuing them lol
They’ve signed my card every time except now, but I have never once needed it for anything.
