i got two from shokz, but both degraded after a few years - first they offered recycling them, but they stopped doing that even. it would be nice to have one that could be used for longer

I’ve tried to find some but most bone conduction headsets are made for the athletic market - swimmers and runners - so being waterproof is paramount. Repairability and being waterproof don’t usually play nice together. There are only a few manufacturers so there’s not much incentive to compete. None were up to my standards. As it stands today bone conducting headsets are just ewaste. The only company I could see doing them well is Fairphone but that’s an entirely new product category, and a relatively unpopular one at that. I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
