Could they have tried to make it appear at least slightly distinct from factorio? The graphics, the interface, the sound effects, the music, all could be out of some new teaser from Wube.
If I wanted to play factorio, I could just play factorio.
Hopefully as they iterate on the concept it’ll start to become more distinct.
Same belt/inserter/pipe mechanics. And the mining/miners especially. The visual design and animation of the miners in Factorio were complete non-sense, but we don’t care because the game itself is amazing. They just copied that non-sense like a trap street.
